Why not make Linden Lab your number one source of shoddy, ill-conceived and largely ineffective software? :)

Occasionally, alt-detection systems probably do pretty well, I imagine. I've never seen it happen, but I imagine it must. Copybot detection systems would work even less well, and both are easy enough to bypass. Still, people want what they want, even if what they want doesn't work. Hope and belief are very powerful things and can override almost anything, even the facts.
